Tallahassee Media Event

Greg "The Federation" is working with some other cachers on an upcoming Media Event in Tally and we need a couple of local cachers willing to help out. This is a big deal and some of you all are quite active if you are interested or if you know someone who is call Greg at my cell 386-336-6374 or pass it along so he can fill you all in on the details.

I've already responded to Jayne and Greg. MC and I would be happy to assist in this project. Let us know what we can do but we've already set that date aside.

April 20 at Maclay Gardens.
MC and I have been asked to place a cache for the media to find. I really thinkg there should be more. I'll call Jayne tomorrow and suggest that.
Can you atted? It starts at 11 am at the entrance to the garden and has a pirate ship theme - treasure hunters you know. aarrgggg
Come on TAG, lets get out and let them see who we are and what we do.

Kay, been meaning to e-mail, you, but been swamped, so this will have to do. I was asked to attend to be the official tech support geek.  I'll meet you there (I'll probably get there about an hour beforehand).

Great event! The Original Florida has a contest which is open to anyone with the GPS and desire to visit some very interesting places in the North-Central Florida area. Go to their website originalflorida.org and follow the link to Hidden Treasures.
Thanks to Scorcia, Kirbert and newcomer Brusea for helping with the event. There were a couple of other cachers there but I, unfortunately, didn't get their names or geonicks.
If you did attend and haven't logged onto the geocaching.com event page or here at TAG, please do so and let us know about you and your interest in geocaching.
The Original Florida is willing to help TAG host an event if we are interested. Any opinion TAGs?
